    The Career Center's Dependable Strengths Workshop is an excellent resource for alumni in any stage of career transition.

The Career Center provides a variety of comprehensive services for UW alumni, including:

  • One-on-one appointments with counselors
    Not sure what to do after college or, for that matter, what to major in while you’re in college? You’re not alone! The Career Center’s team of professionally trained career counselors is ready to help you figure out where you want to go and how to get there. Consider making an appointment if...
    • Clarify academic and career interests
    • Identify connections between your major and career options
    • Identify resources to research employers
    • Discover job search strategies
    • Identify skills and strengths
    • Write effective resumes and employer letters
    • Prepare and practice for interviews
    • Evaluate job offers from potential employers
    • Learn to negotiate salaries
    • Determine a course of action to meet career objectives
    • Standard 50 minute appointments can be made in person weekdays between 8 and 5 or by calling us.  Phone meetings are available upon request as well.  Please note, 
      counseling services for alumni are fee-based and cost $60 per session.
  • Workshops and classes
    The Career Center offers a series of drop-in workshops each month for students and alumni. Each workshop is carefully designed by a member of our career counseling staff to address common career-related concerns and questions.  Click here for more information.
